Tim Fudge serves as the Chief of the Operations Division. In his current position, he is responsible for the oversight and execution of a wide variety of operations and maintenance activities of the Charleston District. The Operations Division is responsible for the production of hydroelectric power, the operation of navigation and multipurpose projects, and the maintenance of two deep draft harbors (Charleston and Georgetown Harbors), several coastal inlets and connecting channels, and the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway.

Prior to coming to the Charleston District, Fudge served as the Deputy Chief of Operations and Readiness Division for the Huntington District and was responsible for water resource management across parts of four states, totaling 45 projects staffed by more than 450 people and consisting of an average annual budget of approximately $100 million.

Previous to this position, Fudge served as the deputy DPM in the Afghanistan District, where he managed and coordinated all aspects of Programs and Project Management Division projects throughout their life cycle to include Afghan National Army; Afghan National Police; Infrastructure, Planning and Services (ISP); Provincial Reconstruction Teams (PRT); and Programs and Analysis branches. Fudge has also held other positions in operations at the Corps’ Nashville, Pittsburgh, Huntington and Tulsa Districts.

Fudge was born in Fort Worth, Texas, and spent much of his life in Tulsa, Okla., prior to moving to West Virginia. He attended Marshall University before graduating from West Virginia Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s of science degree in civil engineering.
