The St. Stephen Power Plant in Berkeley County is located in the rediversion canal connecting Lake Moultrie and the Santee River. Included in the project is a reinforced concrete fish lift located on the north side of the powerhouse. The powerhouse supplies power to about 30,000 homes in the Santee Cooper power grid.
