The Charleston District is beginning an emergency beach renourishment on the east end of Folly Beach with funds given to repair issues from the recent hurricanes. Three years in a row, a major hurricane has impacted Folly Beach and the District will pump sand onto this area to protect people and infrastructure behind the dunes.
