The applicant is proposing that 3,412 cubic yards of fill material will be placed within the 1.14 acres of jurisdictional, freshwater wetlands and 271 cubic yards of clean rip rap will be placed below the Ordinary High Water Mark of tributaries that flow through these wetland areas in order to widen the existing road. The applicant has proposed to mitigate for impacts to wetlands and/or waters of the United States by purchasing 11.0 wetland mitigation credits from a wetland mitigation bank to be determined at a later date. The project purpose is widening an existing road corridor.
