The proposed work consists of the construction of a private covered boat lift, covered PWC lift, bulkhead, as well as, associated dredging in the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway. In detail the consists of constructing a covered 16.5’ x 30’ boat lift, a covered 14.5’ x 16’ covered dual PWC lift and 50’ linear feet of bulkhead. Specifically, the bulkhead will impact 0.0005 acres (22 sq. ft.) below the high tide line. In addition the applicant proposes to dredge approximately 200 cubic yards (2, 472 sq. ft.) to provide adequate water depths for navigation and boat storage for the proposed docking structures. The applicant proposes to dredge to a depth of 4’ below mean low water. The dredging will be conducted using a long reach tracked excavator from land. A portion of the dredged material will be used as back fill associated with the bulkhead construction. All remaining dredged material will be deposited directly onto a dump truck and transported to an adjacent upland disposal site. Silt fencing will be constructed along the high tide line to prevent material from escaping into adjacent waterbody.
