PROJECT NAME: Riverland Terrace Boat Landing

WATERWAY & LOCATION: The project is located along the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway (Elliott Cut) at Riverland Terrace Boat Landing at 85 Plymouth Avenue in James Island, Charleston County, South Carolina (Latitude: 32.7683 °, Longitude: -79.9924 °).
PROPOSED WORK: The proposed work consists of the removal of the existing damaged approximately 8'x70’ floating dock and an 8'x20' concrete abutment. The new construction would consist of a new 8'x90' floating dock with a 12'x50' concrete ground out pad. The 12’x50’ concrete groundout pad would require the excavation of approximately 39 cubic yards of material, which would be replaced with filter fabric, 15 cubic yards of #4 bedding stone, and 15 cubic yards of a concrete pad. Additionally, a new 9'x20' concrete abutment would be installed in replacement of the existing concrete abutment. Furthermore, a 33' sheet pile breakwater would be installed at the location of a previous breakwater.
